Aux buckets?
I have a set of Blazer buckets that are shorter than most! they also have a metal back on them! Do these sound like Aux Bucket seats? they are out of a 71 Blazer?

Yep, sounds like that is what you have. A little shorter, a little wider and with metal backs.

They are also called utility buckets.

Fairly common.They are the base seat for K/5s.
