What do you do with your spare tire?
If you have a gas tank in the rear of your PU, what do you do with the spair tire?

What spare? It's in a can behind the seat.

Same place it always has, right behind me. My stepside has the side mounted spare. Probably not what you were looking for. The mounted spare is listed on my options list on the glove box door. Did many of the stepsides come without the side mounted spare, or have y'all replaced the left fenders with one that doesn't have the indention for the spare?
Thanks, ------------------ Tim Rich Kennesaw, GA 72 Stepside 65 Must@ng

My spare apparently is a great place to store extra nails. This seems like a popular thing to do, most of the cars I've had are like this.

Mine's in the bed, which is dumb. I don't carry a tire iron or jack. But at least it ain't takin' up space in the garage.

Sliding around in the bed, and flat. Also have no jack or tire iron in the truck! I've walked many a mile for various reasons, thanks to this truck, so what's a few more? hahaha!
The tires I have on the truck are pretty thick, so I think it would take something pretty heavy duty to pop 'em! ------------------ 1970 GMC 1500, 350ci, 3 in a tree http://members.tripod.com/~Jungleman_2/1970GMC.html Vancouver, B.C.
