New Toy

Bought my first square body this weekend. Po shaved drip rails, not sure if I like this mod yet. I know you can get new ones for the older style, but can you for these? Also, can you hide a trl hitch behind rear plates like the older trucks?

Re: New Toy

Glad to see you are a part of the club now, but....

I like the trucks both ways with, and without the drip rails. It really depends on if you are keeping the trim, and stuff like that. Should be easy enough to add them back on if ya want. As for the receiver hitch. It takes some modification, but can be done.

Yeah I know, have pics on my phone but can't load them from it. Truck has one of those 50' paint jobs. Looks good from 50'. I have a 70 that is tore completly apart in my shop, your truck build is one that inspired me to get a square body. You have a sharp looking truck. Mine is an 86 that po converted over to a carb ( read cut wires ). Needs lots of tlc ( read money ) going to keep it together and drive it while trying to get it in better shape. I thank you for the inspiration. My wife may not but I do.

I thought the same thing! That is funny Joe.
Houch: I too am looking forward to the pics. Congrats on the square. Oh and I agree with oldrusty. I took my screwed on ones off. They would be easy enough to add back on.

Re: New Toy

I had the muffler shop weld a hidden hitch on my stepside. Just eliminates the spare tire.
