Question Accuair level sensor mounting question

I've got everything from my Accuair kit mounted except the level sensors. The rears seem like they will be pretty simple to mount, even though I'm using PB tubular arms. I'm going to have to build a couple of brackets, but nothing complicated. The fronts are where I'm kinda stumped. I'm running ART upper and lower tubular arms along with their shock relocators. My problem is, I can't seem to find a location to mount the sensor that doesn't interfere with some part of the suspension. Has anyone mounted theirs yet and willing to share some pictures or insight? Thanks in advance,

Rob

Pictures of the rears mounted would be great also.

Re: Accuair level sensor mounting question

there is an artilce in the new street trucks that shows how to mount them on a 67-72 c-10. i believe it had tubular control arms. i did not buy it, just browsed at it on the rack.

Great call! Here's the link: http://www.streettrucksmag.com/tech/...air-management

My setup is a little different, but I think I might be able to make their configuration work.

Re: Accuair level sensor mounting question

one of the guys at accuair sent me some different pics. i cant find them now.
PM accuair, or they might chime in.....

I have seen the sensor mounted on the frame and on the a-arm itself. They welded a tab on the a-arm to mount the sensor. I am going to mount my sensors like they did on the orange truck, makes more sense.

I just installed my tanks, compressor, valves, and ECU satruday. I am about halfway done with plumbing the hardlines. hope to mount the senosrs in a few weeks.

We are just finishing up an install with Porterbuilt Front and Rear on our C10. Here are a few pics of how we decided to mount the sensors in both the front and the rear: (We will be starting a build thread for this truck soon!)

Re: Accuair level sensor mounting question

So when do we get graced to see the build on this one? fount that using 2" stand offs work perfect for the rears to allow adequit clearance for the arm to move and for the guys running complete dropmemebrs and upper and lower controll arms from nate ask me or N2Billet about some shaft collars that not only look nice but fit perfect to mont up the sensors.

Re: Accuair level sensor mounting question

Pulled this out of the archives... are you guys still making the collars - definitely be in the market for some - running full porterbuilt front and back.

That's pretty sexy Reno! Any dimensions on the spacers and do you have an extra set? .

Re: Accuair level sensor mounting question

Thanks Reno.

I like the spacer on the back sensor. I have 2" threaded stand-offs that might work for this.

I picked these up from http://www.littleshopmfg.com. They don't seem to be on their website yet. They are cheap and look pretty good.
