Buddy buckets were only offered 67/68. Those are high, but it probably would cost that much to completely rebuild a set.

Re: Buddy Buckets - Ebay----Pricey

I guess is it just me but I cant comprehend what is the big deal about "buddy buckets".......

I have seen so many nicer seatsfor a third of the price.... like the leather bench seat in this pict from my budiie's truck I will take this bench all day long before even considering the buckets..

Re: Buddy Buckets - Ebay----Pricey

even with nos console thats pretty high, but I think rob is right, you`d spend almost as much restoring buckets to be like these

Re: Buddy Buckets - Ebay----Pricey

those are not buddy buckets. I like them but I would never pay over 500 myself for a set when you can get benchs covered all day for 150-200

Re: Buddy Buckets - Ebay----Pricey

If Jesus Christ himself recovered them, I would not pay $2k for a set of seats. Sorry, buddy bucket lovers, but that's just ridiculous. Even if it would cost that much to restore them, that's just ludicrous and I'm pretty much they won't sell at that price. But hey, I ain't mad at him for asking that price and if they do sell and someone is fortunate enough to be able to buy them so be it.

Buddy buckets are cool....but not 2K cool I've bought whole trucks for less than that. Those buckets on Ebay are not buddy buckets by the way.

Re: Buddy Buckets - Ebay----Pricey

I've seen sets that are completely crapped out for around 7-800 bux. Seems a bit high, but not all that much.

So Al, you can pick up a leather bench seat like the one in the pic for $650? Got a source for that?

Now that's more like it. $1k for a very good, unripped up set makes sense. Just like member Zoomin said he's seen them ripped up and crapped out for $700 or $800 then $1000 or maybe even $1200 is a reasonable offer for very good ones. The only way, IMO, to justify $2000 for some seats if they were NOS, never used and all original. Which I doubt very seriously that NOS buddy buckets exist.
