Re: Did this yesterday before the rain storm

The truck looks good! That's what I'm planning on doing this next weekend; supposed to hit 53 on Friday.

I had my first experience with a "drive through" car wash, and I don't mean an automatic bay. The type with the whirling/twirling brushes and forced air fans at the end; and it actually cleaned up my truck pretty well.

hotrod80, do you find your white vehicles turning black with the rain? Each time it rains I hate the clean up that is left. I need to give my DD a good wax before to long, and I think it will alleviate my problem.

Re: Did this yesterday before the rain storm

For the most part its the mist from the tires that makes the worst mess . It take the shine off the rims and coats the lower half with a film . The roof and the hood stay pretty clean . Both me and the wife work at a chemical plant so i wash weekly . Plus we are about 4 or 5 miles as the crow flys from the bay ( sal****er ) so our cars rust from the top down . Instead of the bottom up . I can tell when i hit them with the water hose the first layer comes right off .

p.s. did i mention how much i love my buffer !

Re: Did this yesterday before the rain storm

I've really been thinking about ordering the PC buffer... I've seen to many positive remarks about it to not.
