Lets see you drop pics

Hello fella's, I'm seriously looking at buying a 72 short fleetside 2X4. I've had six of these trucks to date this one will be number seven. What i'm interested in is what drops you went with. I'm thinking 4/6 but i'm not sure. Where do you get the best deals on drop parts? mine has coils in the rear. So lets see some pics, tell me what your running. Wheel and tire size would be nice too.

Here's my 2.5 - 4" drop. Actually the front is probably more like a 3" or 3.5" drop because the springs are originals and are sagging a little. Wheels are 17x8 front with 255-50s, and 17x9.5 rear with 275-50s.

Nitto NT450 tires ? I haven't ever seen any other line of tires that offer those two sizes in matching tread.

No I have Falken Ziex front & rear, but I know what you mean, those sizes with matching tread are hard to find.

Thanks, that is the color I've been looking for. The truck my Dad had in 72 was that color. I was wondering what it would look like. Thanks

Re: Lets see you drop pics

thanks guys, jwall's truck looks similar to the truck i'm looking at. so that gives me a real gool idea. big al's truck is the look i'm going for, with a bigger diameter tire on the rear to give it a nice rake. what about ride and drive? did any of you have to c-notch the rear?

No c-notch and it rides pretty good. The roads here in South Florida are in great condition everywhere I dont know how good it will ride in a not so nice of a road...just saying...

Re: Lets see you drop pics

I bought mine from Early Clasics, there are several vendors that sell the full kit...Classic Perform also has a nice set up.
