Bucket Seats
I've been looking around the 73-87 forum for a bit here and can't seem to find a complete listing of what users have had to do to fit non factory buckets in their trucks. I've seen the kits where you can order the 200 dollar change over bracket and then buy their 1000 dollar seat to fit it but, I know there are people on this site who have grabbed a set of seats out of a newer chevy/gmc/other and made them work, but how. Post em and any story you may have to go along with how you made it work. Looking to do this myself (83) and needing guidance

Re: Bucket Seats
most of what i've seen is people using there imagination and they came up with some pretty good ideas you can do a search on here just in the forum and you should see something. Fer79 put some 91 suburban seats in his stepside looked pretty good you might wanna go that route. if and when i get this 73 I'm thinking of doing the same thing with a 60/40 with the armrest center i'll see what i can find
