Sure their are GOOD aftermarket ones. They are even better than stock

Re: Need a new Fly Wheel....

I dont really have a preference on what its made of....steel, billet, cast.... As long as its strong and I dont have to worry about it cracking later. Need it to be able to hold up to a few extra horsepower. No more then 400hp.... Looking for suggestions, recommendations....

Have you tried Northern Auto Parts or Jegs? I'm in the same boat as I am looking for a '86 and up external balance 350 flywheel. Seems like they are around 70 bucks for cast.

Re: Need a new Fly Wheel....

Pioneer makes real nice ones. You can buy them at O Reilly Auto Parts for about 35 dollars each.

For 1 piece rear main seal, part number FRA-110
For 2 piece rear main seal, part number FRA-100

Both are stocking items at any O Reilly in the free world.
