Fender question and door handles

This may be a stupid question but whats the diff between 67 and 68 front fenders? or is there no difference? I also purchased new door handles for my 68 that has a 67 driver side door, handles say they fir 67-72 but i can tell you 67 is stamped differently and well not accept the treads in the new handles. the old handle is tapped and threaded different. any one else experience this??

Re: Fender question and door handles

there is never a stupid question. the only difference in the 67-68 fenders is the 67 has no marker light. no help to you with the door handles but good luck with it.

I worked for an aftermarket body parts company for years and I can tell you no matter what, youll most likely run into fitment issues, well not fitment so much as getting body lines straight, but these are almost always remedied by simply reaming the bolt holes as needed, I would order an aftermarket fender if I dodnt want to do bodywork on an old oem.
