Speedometer Bouncing
My 76 Chevy truck has a bouncing speedometer. It only begans when I exceed about 40 mph. At 70 mph, the needle bounces rapidly from 35 to 80. Could it be the cabke or the actual gauge. I did notice when I had dash apart that the gauge plugs into a receiver in the dash?

Re: Speedometer Bouncing
first thing to try is remove speedo cable from housing and clean both parts then use speedo lube and reassemble
