Re: corvette differential 6 lug?
Are you talking about the straight axle ones from a 53-62 Corvette?
I'm sure you could replace the axle shafts with 6 lug, or fill and re-drill the hub. What kind of swap do you have in mind? |

Re: corvette differential 6 lug?
If you are going through all that then I'd say changing the lugs over is insignificant in comparison. Anything's possible...

Re: corvette differential 6 lug?
If your doing all the work to install the Corvette pieces why are you worrying about converting from the 5 to 6 lug. Go with 5 lug! If your planning on putting this conversion under a 3/4 ton... I wouldn't. Just my thoughts.

Re: corvette differential 6 lug?
I know its been done on the rear of a blazer since there was one for sale on ebay a little bit back . but you are going to have alot of fab time in the mounts and making sure everything is going to line up so it drive striaght down the road and you have no drive line issuses . I would keep it all five lug vett so you dont have a hodge podge of parts that dont work right together .
