Canada WTB for C30 dually U bolt saddle on top of leaf springs

I am looking for a saddle that goes on the top of the leaf spring pack on a 69 C 30 dually. It Keeps the u bolts in their realative positions to each other. It has a hole in the middle to clear the spring pack bolt. I am also looking for one of the spacers that goes between the axle sadle and the leaf pack. it's about 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches and looks like a small piece of I beam with the ends capped off and has holes on the top and bottom flages for the alignment dowels. My truck does not have the rear shock option and I would like to add them. If anybody has a dually parts frame with the top mounts I'm interested in getting some of those too.

I know I have some, I will just have to put my hands on them. Canyou give me a day or two. There are several different styles. Do you have a pic of exactly the ones you are hunting?

By a real stroke of luck a medium and large truck wrecker I was going by today had 1 of the u bolt saddles sitting out on a huge pile of spring pack hardware. It was amazing I picked it out of the huge pile that were there. I can probably fix the spacer or fab one up but if you have a spacer I'd be interested. I'm still looking for shock mounts too.

Do you need a pic of the spring spacer? I can't really get a good shot of it untill I get it all apart. I think it's cast steel and can probably have the crack in it welded but I think having a good one around would still be a good idea.

I'm parting out a '67 C30 dually..... I'm at work but just called my wife to have her check to see if it has shocks.

She says it does. Tell me exactly what you need and I'll snap some pictures tonight if you want.

I'm looking for what ever kind of upper shock bracket is riveted to the frame forward of the axle. My frame is an open C channel with nothing at all in that area but holes. I can come up with something for the axle itself but the frame brackets would be nice to get. If by chance the diff is scrap and you are cutting anyway I'd take the the lowers on the axle too.

If the ground is dry enough I'll drag it into the shop tonight and start cutting. Tops & bottoms. Anything else you might want? This thing is merely scrap weight at this point. Its a complete c30 rolling chassis, everything but the steering box is up for grabs.

How much do you want for the parts? Please send some pics before cutting. Let's make sure what you have looks like it's what I'm thinking is going to fit in there. If you have a plasma or a torch the rivet heads can be blown off and then the rivets driven out with an air chisel. If you have a good enough air chisel it will knock off the rivet heads too. Have you got the spacer in the pic?

I'll have to check, the spacer thing might be a little too much to ask the wife to check for me.

I'll snap some pictures before cutting. Will have to wait till tomorrow morning to put them up, I have dial-up at home.

Price, you just pay me what you think they are worth keeping in mind the effort to remove them. Make me a fair offer + shipping.

Want the actual shocks too? This thing has extensions welded to the helper springs, the shocks may be in good shape due to the suspension not cycling much. The old ones might be good for sourcing replacements if they are not useable. Your call either way.

I found something else I need to work on. This truck as a grain truck ran heavy for the first 30K of it's life and wore out the overlaod spring pads. I need all 4 that are riveted to the frame. Has anybody got a good set of these?

I'm good on the plate as I stumbled across one. Still would like to find spacer, shock mounts and now possibly overload pads. BigBlock have you ever replaced or repaired the overload pads on one of these?

I personally have never had to change the overload pads, but I have a 68 ton dump that the PO moved the pads down so the overloads are touching all the time.
