Re: need non ac heater core how to
just unbolt the heater box in the engine bay, the hood hinge and blower motor might be tight and the couple bottom bolts on the box will be a butt sometimes you might have to lower the inner fender some and the core is held in by a couple metal things with screws and one cable from the heater controls runs into there too, and of course the heater hoses

Thanks for the input.Have been hearing about the inner fender but didn't know if that was only an ac truck deal.

Nope, on all of them, . My box was broke, so I just snapped that bottom corner off when I removed mine the other day since I didn't feel like unbolting everything.

Re: need non ac heater core how to
whats your motor? mines an inline 6 so lots of room, i did all the bolts i could and since i couldnt get past inner fender, and didnt want to fuss with it. i pulled heater box away enough from the firewall, kinda pivoting on bolts still in, to slide the heater core along the fire wall and down towards transmission, slid new one in that way too, be careful though tight squeeze don't want to ruin new core fins, or snap heater box. if its a v8 i dont think this will work not enough room(havent tried though) good luck!
