need help w/ a tilt column question
i'm lookin' to buy a tilt column for my truck... i have a '75, but i put an '84 cab on my frame... so, the million dollar question is, can i buy a '73-'80 tilt for it? or does it have to be an '80-84?
thanks! |

Tough question. Not sure but this may help. If the cab itself has the cutout for the wiper controls on the bezel itself then it would be ok. If not then you either need a newer column or maybe cut out the hole for the wiper controls. Also another problem is the light switch was moved up a bit in the later years. I would look at the cab (84) and compare to the 75. I bet you have to use the newer column.

Brandon pretty much covered this. All the columns will bolt in, you just need to decide ahead of time what kind of dash you plan to use, or if you want the accessories mounting on the column.
Just found this, look here too: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...threadid=39385
