I-6 TBI Idea...
I had a thought about adapting a TBI from a later model truck to fit a 292. I know it could be done, but not sure what all would be involved. I just thought it would be a cool way to build a motor and be a little different. My other thought was that it would be esay to put a blow thru turbo on it. This is all arm-chair customizing, though and would like some input.

Re: I-6 TBI Idea...
My brother in law, who is a genius at electrical and fuel injection, has kicked around the idea of adapting the 'TPI' setup that comes on the 4.0 Jeep inlines sixes to a Chevy six. That would be cool to see...

Re: I-6 TBI Idea...
Thanks for posting these links Ron. I really liked Doc's build on this '63......that was years ago. I've got all those mags somewhere. I've searched for the build articles online a couple of times without any luck.

Re: I-6 TBI Idea...
The cool thing about the Megasquirt is they're self learning.

Re: I-6 TBI Idea...
Jonny,
woogeroo is right, go to inliners.org there is a ton of knowledge and experience there. be prepared to pay premium prices to build a 292, but if you do, it's definately cool and different. I'm building mine with stock but balanced bottom end, propane dish pistons, Schnieder hydraulic lifter cam, lump ports, bigger valves, Offy intake, 4 bbl carb, and HEI.
