need some help with guages
got a few questions about my fuel and temp gauges.
my temp gauge does not work but today the temp light in the fuel gauge lit up. next my fuel gauge does not work at all it is stuck at 1/8 of a tank. where should i start trouble shooting. thanks in advance every one |

You can do a quick check on your fuel gauge by disconnecting the brown wire from the fuel tank sender at the fuse panel. The fuse panel will be marked. With the key on when you disconnect the wire the gauge should go to full. If it does get an ohm reading from the brown wire to ground. If the reading is toward the low end of 0 to 90 ohms and the tank is full then more then likely there is a problem with the sender, (bad float or bad sender).
