Re: rustiest trucks
Here's mine
It's a lot worse than it looks. The PO just filled all the rust up, so it is hidden, but there's a lot of it there. Both front floor boards are literally missing. I put a couple pieces of aluminum in place until I finally tear it apart and replace all the rusty pieces/parts. Oh, and yes, it's a 2wd Last edited by nlped; 04-12-2010 at 12:26 PM. |

Re: rustiest trucks
Mines got plenty of surface rust but hardly any rot.

Re: rustiest trucks
heres my project, was a little rustier than i expected. but every now and thewn ya get surprises like that haha
heres whats left of the driver side floor, after taking a brush and a wire wheel to it. the rust colord dust is from when i took the wire wheel to the passenger floorboard, whitch luckily only had surface rust so just had to clean it up and hit it with some primer. |

Yes, and 73-87 trucks only. Otherwise it goes to General Discussion...

Re: rustiest trucks
Lol, my specific area does tend to dump a bunch of salt. The idiots can't drive with a few snowflakes on the ground. Oh, and that pic was two years ago... imagine what it might look like now!

Re: rustiest trucks
WHITE truck is the only one of the 3 trucks here that don't have DMV back fees greater than a one-week paycheck
Red one is my dads old dump-run truck. more rust than you can really see in the pic; especially the hood and floorboards. fees: $700+. bought the truck for $400 Blue one used to be the daily driver. blown motor. fees: $500+ |

Re: rustiest trucks
Do they have to run?
This thing literally fell apart when I opened the doors and tailgate. The bed rails became level with the rear floor. It had only been there for a year or two, it was on the road before that |
