rear end pinion yoke

can anyone tell me the difference in the pinion yoke a 12bolt and 8.5 10 bolt rear end. Im having trouble finding the right u joint, also what did the 67 c10 come with stock as far as rear ends? thanks everyone

Both the 8.5 in 10 bolt (car only) and the stock 8.875 inch 1/2 ton truck 12 bolt came with a 1310 series pinion yoke. Can't say what the PO of your diffs might have changed and I do not have the sizes for the 4wd or 3/4 ton trucks. The neat thing is the heavier 1330 and 1350 yokes and the 1310 yoke are splined the same so almost any driveline shop can get you the parts to change from one to the other.
Joint Width Cap Diameter
1310 3.219 1.062
1330 3.625 1.062
1350 3.625 1.188

I put a 1350 pinion yoke in my rearend when I rebuilt it.

thanks for the help guys, i took the rear end off and went over to freight liner and their drive shaft guy helped me out. What I need was a 1310/3r u joint. everything is back on, now just gotta fab something up for the shift linkage. again thanks guys
