Re: brake booster?
You can either use a OEM style for the '67-'72's or the bracket I make and choose from a few newer OEM applications for the booster. If your engine is low on vacuum you might want a dual diaphram booster. You can also go with hydroboost with my bracket. Let me know if you're interested.

Re: brake booster?
Ok I have a similar question. My 68 burb has power drums. I am swaping in 4 wheel disc. What master cyl or booster do I need? Also prop valve

Re: brake booster?
A popular master to use is one for a '70's Corvette. You can also use most any disc/disc OEM master. As for the proportioning valve a safe one to use is a disc/disc valve either an OEM one or aftermarket. You can also use a combination of no prop valve and an adjustable on the rear, or a disc/drum prop valve with an adjustable on the rear. You just have to kind of try one first and then change accordingly to suit your needs. A lot of it depends on what you're using for your calipers and what size the rotors are as well as the bore of the master. The braking system as a whole will need to be tuned to your truck and driving style.

Re: brake booster?
captain fab i am going w/ one of you brackets, pm sent, what would be a good compatable dual diaphram booster to use with your bracket. im not sure on the vacum of my truck but it cant be real good, its just a 350 but idles pretty rough the po must have put a pretty wild cam in it. old school double hump heads, mild to wild cam and runs like a scalded dog belive me!!

Re: brake booster?
The '82-'87 S10's used a dual diaphram booster.

Re: brake booster?
I have a 9"booster on my Blazer, and had the exact same on my C-10. I tried an 8" booster on the Blazer, but hated the way the pedal felt ( too hard ) did not feel like there was enough power assist.
