Making a 4 bar rear end?
My first thread under this user name, had another account a couple years ago but i forgot the log in info so i made a new account. I have a 53 Chevy 3100 that i have been working on on and off for a couple of years. I have a question about making a 4 bar rear end like heidts classic truck 4 bar, I would like to use the design because it appears fairly simple. First i would just like to ask if anyone has created something similar and what they did in planing it. Also if anyone has any plans they have made for this type of rear end or something similar? Any other comments or suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance Ty

Re: Making a 4 bar rear end?
Check out the link below. For the money- I think you'd be better off buying a pre-fabbed kit, rather than sourcing the brackets, rod-ends, and other materials on your own. Plus the geometry and bracket placement has already been figured out for ya'. I've seen them use these products on "TRUCKS", so the quality should be pretty good.
