Tire & Wheel Question

I got a great deal on a set of slightly used tires - free! Goodyear Wranglers, 255-70R16. Assuming I scored something like the Wheel Vintiques 16X7 Rally wheels, does anyone forsee problems fitting this combination to a 64 C10 with stock suspension and ride height?

Re: Tire & Wheel Question

I'm guessing, but I dont think it would be a problem at stock ride hite.

Re: Tire & Wheel Question

Depending on the brand a 255/70R16 tire is approx 30.1" tall (o.d.) with about 8" of tread width and should fit just fine on a stock C-10 given the proper offset wheels are used (std offset).

Re: Tire & Wheel Question

What Blacke said,

The 255/70R16 is about 1" bigger in radius than a 235/75R15 so should work fine. I would go with 8" wide rims though.
