Hey all.. Just curious if anyone has any pics of their power steering hose routing after converting from manual steering?? I just want to see what it's gonna look like under the hood..

Thanks a ton!

Re: Power steering conversion hose routing pics?

anybody have pictures of the routing? doesn't look like much room for hoses to fit underneath the inner fender, & i'm wondering if I'll need to trim/cut...currently in the process of converting mine, so any help is greatly appreciated

Re: Power steering conversion hose routing pics?

Sorry no pics but my fender was slightly bent up to just clear the hoses. I've often thought about trimming the inner fender but Ive just never had to. Seems to work fine with the bend. Doesnt look bad either

Re: Power steering conversion hose routing pics?

I put a 1/2 inch x 1 inch notch in my inner fender at the frame.

Re: Power steering conversion hose routing pics?

The hoses on mine have several inches of steel tubing at the ends on the steering box. These easily route under the fender well and have plenty of room.

I don't have a photo available.

Re: Power steering conversion hose routing pics?

Here is what i did, Im trying to keep from cutting the inner fender, I used the braided hose I was able to route thru an existing oblong hole in the frame, once thru the hole i attached fitting, looks like it will work and clear the fender
