20x8.5 backspace question

Truck is at the paint shop so I went wheel shopping to prepare for the homecoming. I decided on Foose Nitrous 5's for the look and price. The rears are 20x10 with 5.25" bs. The fronts are 20x8.5 with 4.5" bs. I placed the order online with wheelsforless.com They called me immediatley so say the 20x8.5 is on back order with no word from the manufacturer. They do have them in 4" bs.

It seems everyone is running 20x8.5 with 4.5 bs. Would I have a problem going with the 4" bs?? I heard the original Rallys had 4" bs so I figured it would be ok but wanted to ask here first.

Oh yea..I have an ECE 4/6 static drop. Front tires are 255/40/20. Rears are 295/40/20.

I could always buy the available 20x10s and hunt down some 20x8.5 with 4.5 bs. I doubt I'll find them.

My other choice are the Coy C-5s in chrome. They would be about $200 more but I can get them in the size I want.

Re: 20x8.5 backspace question

I would run a 5.25"-5.5" bs. on a 8.5" wide wheel up front.
Look at 72BlckButy's thread. His 20's fit perfect in my mind.
