1969 3/4 Ton Disc Conversion
I am in the process of swapping the drum brakes off my 1969 3/4 ton GMC. I thought I could just swap a 71 master cylinder onto my 69 booster, but the pushrod sticks out too far to bolt the m/c up. Do I have to swap the booster out too or can I get a different pushrod? My booster looks different than all the 1/2 ton boosters that I have seen. Do they make different size boosters? Thanks.

Re: 1969 3/4 Ton Disc Conversion
Usually, when you do the conversion, it takes all different parts on the engine side of the firewall. Longer brackets, booster, m/c, and proportioning valve.

Re: 1969 3/4 Ton Disc Conversion
I bought a 71 m/c and p valve. I can get a new booster at the parts house but I didnt know if a 71 booster would bolt up to my mounting brackets and pedal pushrod.
