Anyone want a 66 bus?
I went out to my local junkyard here in Santa Maria, CA (Blackroad Auto) and Mike just got in a 66 Chevy bus. I guess this was factory built by Chevy. I don't know too much about the 60-66 era trucks but she does need some work. The windshield frame really needs to be replaced along with some spots along the roof drip rail. The interior seems to be pretty clean. Also needs the driver's side front door. Has all the drivetrain, he thinks it's a 327 V8. He is asking $750 for this but hell, make him an offer, he also does trades for cars, trucks, scrap metal, etc.

Wow
that's cool do all of those doors open? My bro in law has a shorter 60-61 GMC bus like that.

Re: Anyone want a 66 bus?
Yeah, there's a total of 8 doors, 4 on each side.

Re: Anyone want a 66 bus?
did you open the doors behind the front doors? From the pics the angle at the top of the doors doesn't look functional...

Re: Anyone want a 66 bus?
There's 3 sets of doors for building crewcabs. 66 deluxe steering wheel. Bat-O-Meter on the steering columb? I'd go for the drivers bucket seat.

Awesome, maybe John Force would be interested. Heard they stole his bus!
Let's ask Overhaulin to do it in 7 days.

Here is what it might look like restored. This was recently on eBay, listed at $35,000.00 with no bids. Seller said $70K invested.
