Truck Help

I need help with my 74 truck. It is a half ton 2 wheel drive with a 350 and three on the tree. The motor has set since 94, and it will turn by hand, but it wont start. At least I dont think it will, I didnt want to try as it may be starved of oil sitting so long.
Ok, so to get to the questions,
1.How would I go about priming the oil up into the motor?
2.Would it help to spray some PB penatrating oil in the cylinders?
3.Ive never used it before, but would spraying starting fluid down the carb.?

It has nothing to do with the above questions, but I have already installed the following new parts on it: Coil, distributor cap, points, battery, plugs, oil and filter, fuel filter, all the fuses, belts, and brake pads, rotors, master cylinder, and lines to the front (to get it home. Long story, but it was necessary).

Re: Truck Help

Truckerboy, Remove the plugs. Put a teaspoon of motor oil in each cyl aand let it sit a few minutes. Do not put the plugs back in yet. Crank the eng over in 30 or 45 second bursts. Watch oil pressure guage. When you get pressure, put the plugs back in, and if you did the ign correctly it's going to fire right off. I wouldn't use any starting either if you have never used it before, trust me. After you get her going and warmed up take it for a good run, bring it home and change the oil again, jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.
