Re: just picked up an '83 pickup
Well, I plan on dropping a mildly built 350 in it. Tempted to put the 350 for my '59 in it. :-) But, Thats first order of business. The paint is a little faded too. I might strip it down and Paint it black. New carpet and having the seat reupholstered are on my short term list of things to do as well. I like the stance and ride height.
I really like the grill but it blocks a lot of light. Maybe keep it and put some of those ultra white bulbs in there. |

Re: just picked up an '83 pickup
The interior looks like my 86 scottsdale. Sweet ride and kudos to getting something with 1ton stuff already. that is rad. the engine lloks exactly like mine too. lol iff you want to ditch those exhaust manifolds let me know i have a set of edellbrock headers in mine that i want to replace with stock ones. stupid ca emissions! lol

Re: just picked up an '83 pickup
I can take pics. Its the edelbrock headers for this year truck. They have the smog tree but they are capped. Great headers but i dont want the hassle with the smog ref.
