Used Carpet That Will Fit?
I'm hoping to save a few bucks - does anyone have any experience using carpet from other trucks, vans etc. that fits well in the 67 -72 trucks?
Thanks |

Re: Used Carpet That Will Fit?
New carpet is only $140 or so.
I don't know anyone who has tried to put other carpet in one.

Re: Used Carpet That Will Fit?
with a bit of work you can buy a piece of carpet remnat and cut and fit it to a truck and have a nice fit and appearance// not stock but nice and usable// i've done it on quite a few different projects some for as little as $20 with plenty of carpet leftover
the more effort you put into installing it with heat moisture and pressure to mold it the better it will fit and look

Re: Used Carpet That Will Fit?
- new carpet is pretty cheap if you want it to fit right.
If you are looking for something to get you by - I have seen people just put some remnant house carpet in there... |
