Removing that stubborn glove box door latch

I parted a truck recently and came up with an intact glove box and door for my dually. I want to restore the box door before installing it though.

Question is, how to I remove the turn knob/ latch deal ? I see the paper clip hole and have been fumbling with it an a tiny allen wrench, but can't figure out how it releases.

It's a non locking knob by the way.

For non-key lock latches:
Latch the latch with the glove box door open.
Use a straightened paperclip in the top hole (the hole pointing at the passenger door with the glove box open) to push and release each of the tumblers one by one as you slowly remove the cylinder assembly.
Unscrew the round piece from the outer side of the glove box door.

............if none of the above works, a plasma cutter, sledge hammer, and machine gun will separate the latch from the lid.

i been wandering the same question.... also you might want to faq the cab trim if you don't know to go in the cab corners with a 3/8's ratchet you'll never figure it out.....
