sun visor replacement

Can anyone point me to a walk through on how to replace my sun visors. I don't want to screw this up.

Thanks,

Yes I already did a search...

Re: sun visor replacement

Where did you buy yours?

I'm in the process of replacing mine and all I know is that they are a b***ch to pull (slide) off the bracket. I would remove the bracket from the cab to do this otherwise you may accidentally damge something while pulling.

The old ones were hard to pull off, but the new ones slid on nicely. I bought mine from Brothers.

Re: sun visor replacement

I just bought some too and had a heck of a time getting the visors on the brackets. Now that I got them on, they don't rotate. So now I'm trying to get them off which is almost impossible.

Re: sun visor replacement

I wish I could remember the brand of the repo ones I bought. Were fairly easy to swap out but talk about pieces of crap. I even spent more on the premium ones. They are all warped and wavy now and sag some.

Sorry got of on a tangent (again lol). As far as replacing yours sounds like you have it figured out. Carefully slide off the old ones and carefully slide on the new ones...if they just slip right on and off super easy I would think you have the internal alignment off.

Re: sun visor replacement

They slid on, but they are not loose. I paid 60 bucks for mine. They seem to fit perfectly and they stay up, which is more than I can say about the old ones.
