I just bought a 1971 GMC and it has a dana 60 with a 3:54 gear and factory positraction ( Max Traction) And idea on what to price it at? Going to part the whole truck soon.

Not sure what to tell you for price, but i also just picked up a 72 with the dana 60 and 3:54 gears. I think mine is listed as power lok. Same thing i assume. I will have to watch this and see what people come up with.

I was thinking the "power loc" was the eaton, and the "max-traction" was the Dana

Wait, it was the "No-Spin" that was the eaton. I guess the danas might have two different names?

I just sold my '72 leaf sprung Dana 60 with 3.54 gears for $200 on craigs list. It was complete drum to drum. I had it for sale on here and as a rolling chassis with no luck at all. Advertise it for a Jeep and you should have no problem selling it. They love to put these things in rockcrawlers.

Yeah,

Dana axles could have had either a Power-Loc or a Trac-Loc. The Power-loc was much preferred I'm told for strength.
