Whats it take to make a chevy long bed a dually
I have a 3/4 ton truck I am putting dana 60 under front and I want to make a dually out of it. What all has to be done to make this work.

you have to change the hubs up front to drw hubs, change the axle in the rear to a dually axle, and you need rear dually fenders and 6 dually wheels...

where is good place to find rear fenders? Whats the wb on the rear axle for dually? Arent the shackles different on the rear for duallies

It would be simpler to change the bed if you find a decent one. In addition to the fenders, you would need to cut out the wheel arches, and install some different brackets.

Well, I don't really know how to describe them. They're like these stamped steel hoops that hold the cutout bedside to the wheel house. IIRC, there are also some support rods.

i think its gonna be easier for me to find a crew cab dually. Get my parts off it for single cab dually and then make crew cab a short bed. Two dream build trucks at same time
