Welcome to the Boards!!!

I'm always interested when I see a Post that says .......
"Nor Cal or Northern California" but in MY BOOK,
it's nowhere NEAR Northern California.

I consider Northern California, in the Napa Valley (or above),
and/or North of Marin County.
In the Central Valley I'd say Williams or North of.

Not picking on anyone here, it's just that I saw the Subject Post,
and I find it amuzing to see that people say Northern and they're in Livermore, Pleasenton, Alameda.

Just an observation.

So what are you supposed to call it, mid, upper, sort of higher than central california?

Well I'm Vacaville ... 12 miles from Napa county line ... 60 miles less north than you. I guess We'll call it North Central Cali .. lol Do you get the 6 months of darkness/daylight way up there in Nor Cal?

Oh ... I got it I live North of So Cal!! That should fit.

Re: Fresh Meat Nor Cal - 69 Short Bed Fleet

Northern California
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Northern California is the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. The region contains the San Francisco Bay Area, the cities of San Jose and San Francisco (the 3rd and 4th largest cities in the state), Sacramento (the state capital), Oakland, as well as the redwood forests, the northern California coast, the Big Sur coastline area, the Sierra Nevada including Yosemite Valley and Lake Tahoe, Mount Shasta (the second-highest peak in the Cascade Range), and the Central Valley, one of the world's most productive agricultural regions.

Well .. now we know.

Easy guys.
NOTHING was stated in my Post about any Part of the State being Superior to another part.
It was just MY point of View.
I don't want this Post to degrade any further than it already has.

When I hear "Northern California", I think of:
Napa County
Sonoma County
Lake County
Mendicino County
Colusa County and all counties North of them.

When I hear about a Northern California Get Together, I get excited, but when I see that I have to Drive Through ANY part of (what I call ),
the Bay Area, I'll pass.

Now before you jump on this, It is TOTALLY MY Opinion.
I'm thinking it stems from my 1st "Hell Hole" (err...I mean Marriage).
I was living in Alameda, and it was a NASTY relationship with my Ex AND the Area.
I'm POSITIVE that, is why I feel the way I do.

No disrespect to ANYONE on these Forums no matter WHERE you live!
The Folks here have been helping me since 2005 and I am VERY appreciative of that.

Thanks EVERYONE for all you do for me and others!!!

Nice truck and Welcome From East Tennessee.

I know nothing about Cali other than it's on the opposite end of the world from me It don't matter where you live when you live in truck world.

Re: Fresh Meat Nor Cal - 69 Short Bed Fleet

Welcome from Southeast Missouri.

Nice vehicles.

We lived in Vallejo for a very long time until the government closed the shipyard there.

We enjoyed traveling all over the state, but enjoyed the Sierras most northwest of Reno, a little lake called Frenchman's.

I have found "Truckin" is great no matter where you live, but I do now like the more simple life of living in the country since I am getting to be an old guy.

We do however return to the San Franscisco Bay area now and then to visit family and friends.

Have fun with your projects and keep the pictures coming.

Danny
