NOS Truck Trailing Arms? Help please....

Hey guys....

A friend of mine has some trailing arms with a GM part #3881314...but is not sure what vehicle they are for....Can someone tell me what year they are for??

I tried to google search the part number and looked at a couple site, but got no results....

Thanks for any help....

Re: NOS Truck Trailing Arms? Help please....

According to the GM parts catalog, that part# fits the following:
60-66 10-20 series
67 series 10
67 series 20 (except DoubleDuty)
68-70 series 10-20
71-72 series 10-20

Esentially all 60-72 1/2 ton & 3/4 Ton 2WD thatdon't use leaf springs.

Re: NOS Truck Trailing Arms? Help please....

This is what the GM Master Parts Catolog says:

60-64 series 10 (exc. leaf spring 4/WD)
60-70 series 20 (exc. leaf spring 4/WD)
68-70 series 10-20 (exc. leaf spring 4/WD)
71-72 series 10-20 (Conv., DD) (exc. leaf spring 4/WD)

So in otherwords it fits everything from 1960 to 1972 C/10 & C/20 with rear trailing arm suspention. WES

A lot, used rust free ones sell for over $100 on Ebay. We, in So Cal, cannot even give away used rust free ones, they are all over around here. Nobody wants them.

And we in the Rust Belt can't get enough of them.

Do you not sense an opportunity to make a lot of money anywhere in the above statement?

Yeah, thought about it but don't have the time and also shipping would be a lot which may discourage some buyers or piss them off. Would also be a b!tch to pack them up properly. We have tons of rust free stuff out here but most are really too big or heavy or inconvenient to ship. I cant believe this dude scored 4 nos arms for $100. What an awesome deal. Good for you. Now go make some money for more parts.

If these are them, you aren't kidding about the deal.

(still envious, but an admiring kind of envious)

Wow! Those are some gorgeous arms.

I'm going to go sit in the corner and turn green for a while.
