I need a tub
Hello all im new to the site. I have a 1971 cst k5. My body is inextremely poor condition and i am looking for a decent blazer tub. Im willing to travel so let me kno what you have. Thank you all.

i was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago . i ended up buying one on craiglist that another member on this site sent me a link to . I paid $400 for it needs 1/4s and rockers and some little dumb repairs but its alot better then i was starting with . place a wtb add and someone will come threw with something . I had to drive all the way to long branch new jersey to get mine .

I'm in the same boat. Could someone please tell me how to register or pay for the want ads.
I'm looking to peice together a 72 if I have to. I was ready to drive 11 hours today to pick up a tub but someone beat me to it by a couple hours. |

Thanks for the replys. Im only 17 and have always wanted a ole school blazer so wen i found a deal on one i dove in head first without knowing a thing about the bodys. The eng drivetrain and frame on mine are great but the firewall and windshield frame are SHOT. so trying to find a decent tub for a good price. I wish the one in seattle was closer but just a little to far. thanks and keep posting

If all your worried about is the firewall and windshield frame, you don't need a tub. A truck cab firewall will work as a replacement. Most times the firewall can be repaired by patching the rusted areas with homemade patches. Windshield frames are a common problem area and people on the board here have some for sale occasionally. I've sold a couple myself in the past.

yea i know but the crossmembers that go inder the floor are rotted heavily and theres a lot off shady repair work donw on the floor and rocker panels. Im not a body man at all so im just trying to find a better tub
