What do you think of these c10s? Any good deals? LOOKING TO BUY!
Been searching for a square body forever, its hard up here in the north east to find one that you cant see through! what do you think of these?
#1- http://maine.craigslist.org/cto/1719061112.html ...dont know much about this one other than the ad. #2- http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/1737205477.html ....hate the wheels but thats no big deal, and dont really want a stepside. how much would a good fleetside bed be/hard to find? I like this front a little better. dont really like the roof lights either, dont know much about this one yet. #3- http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/1721825587.html ...frame off, but a little worried about buying someone elses headache maybe? seems pricey too. |

With the wheels being a 5 spoke Crager... I would bet its a 2wd... and a nice one at that.

Re: What do you think of these c10s? Any good deals? LOOKING TO BUY!
Just want a solid truck I can drive semi-reliable. I know its old, and i have a yukon for when i go far/winter, but i always wanted a square body. Want to find one that doesnt need every panel replaced or bondoed. Plans are to slam it, 20in coys, and drive the piss out of it. Eventually big motor, suicide doors, new paint, etc but that wont be for a while.

I called the guy in maine, he said him and his son did all the body work and paint in their garage, and you can see where all the bodywork was done. Noo thanks. The search continues...so hard to find a nice shortbed.

Re: What do you think of these c10s? Any good deals? LOOKING TO BUY!
Ithink would be a good idea to ck craigs list in in other states .I knopw its a long way for you to say Virginia , but there are nice reasonably priced squares all over the place . Itravel in Va. on my job & see them for sale on side of the road quite frenquently. All the nicer trucks in this area are the 67-72 era & they are the most sought after , which leaves a lot of nice squares around .

Re: What do you think of these c10s? Any good deals? LOOKING TO BUY!
-Yes, whatever I buy will be slammed on some nice wheels, probably Coy c-5s, love those.
-Ive been checking a lot of different states, all the way from texas to florida. I dont mind traveling, but the truck will have to be a lot cheaper to make the flight and drive or trailer back worth it. |

Re: What do you think of these c10s? Any good deals? LOOKING TO BUY!
Saw this one in my area here in the midwest, about 80 miles away.
Not in the market and not my style, but if you're looking outside your own backyard...tossing it your way here. Nothing wrong with the way it looks! If you need a place to park it for awhile... http://springfieldil.craigslist.org/cto/1736286915.html Good Luck on your search, Mark

Re: What do you think of these c10s? Any good deals? LOOKING TO BUY!
Geez, why didn't you say so in the first place? Saw this sweet little custom 'shortbed' a while back. Just needs paint and...how does that country song go? "It just takes money"
http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/1738466077.html Of course there are trucks like this one... http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/1734129146.html Just kidding with ya as I enjoy my morning coffee and browse the CL "wish book". (obviously getting old when I recall those as a child!) Seriously, do take care and enjoy the search as much as the discovery. Like the rest of us, look forward to pics of what you bring home. Mark

Re: What do you think of these c10s? Any good deals? LOOKING TO BUY!
Puglia, I live up in Lowell, just keep buying the Auto Hunter there's always a few that pop up in there, last issue had a 87' Shortbox loaded up in Hampstead NH just north of Salem for $1200 needed minor body work and the motor had a rap, but it was all there, I can get you the number if want, but
just be patient I always see 2-3 SB squarebodies in there monthly! Blazn79 for life! Last edited by blazn79; 05-16-2010 at 12:13 PM. |
