14x6 Vintage Torq Thrust on '72 with disk brakes?

I am curious if 14x6 vintage Torq Thrust wheels fit with the factory disk brakes on a '72? I have not yet looked to see if there is much clearance between the 15" wheel I have now. I am going to run a big/skinny set-up and don't mind the smaller wheels. I am not opposed to running a 1"-1.25" billet wheel spacer if that makes it work. Anyone have 14" wheels on your disk brake trucks?

IIRC 15" is the smallest diameter rim that will work period.

Then they have had the disc brakes either remved or modified somehow.

My 1972 Has 15X7 ET slots up front. I actually had to grind on the calipers and mounting flange toget them to clear.

Re: 14x6 Vintage Torq Thrust on '72 with disk brakes?

IIRC there are a bunch of aftermarket wheels that are configured correctly to accept disc brakes. I have done several conversions, and have done a few with 14" wheels. My bet is that the TT2's would clear the disc brakes.

Re: 14x6 Vintage Torq Thrust on '72 with disk brakes?

I ended up going with original 14x6 ET V wheels with steel backs for more clearance & 1" spacers. Thanks for the help, forgot I started this thread but figured I would follow up with info.
