help with flywheel id.
i found this flywheel in a 92-98 1 ton truck. the engine and trans were allready gone. i was told it might be for a 454. the part# 14050525N Thanks,Woody

I dunno if it helps but the 400 SB and 454 BB Chevys are both externally balanced (Dont know about the Gen IV and V big blocks).
I had to order a new flywheel while building the 400 for my 71 Chevy, the part number was for both the 400 and 454 Chevy V-8's. Its easy to tell if it is, there should be a weight welded to the flywheel itself about 3-4 inches long just bellow the clutch wear surface. Another member may be able to tell by the part number but thats the easiest way I know of to tell visually. Just my .02
