E-Brake
How important is the emergency brake? Is there anyway I could move it some where less noticable or can I do without it? Im asking ya'll before I go and do something stupid. Im wanting to build some custom kicker panels and the e-brake seems to be in the way. Any help or opinions would be appreciated. Or if anyone has built some kicker panels with a 6in speaker in them, can you please show me your way of building them?

Re: E-Brake
Personally, I wouldn't be without it. More than once in my life I've had a brake failure.
Check your local laws too, iirc some states won't let you tamper with safety equipment.

Re: E-Brake
Thats why Im asking here, I live in Alabama and I wont have to worry about the state finding out. But if its to dangerous to drive without the E-brake, then I wont touch it. But I would still like some kicker panel idea.

Re: E-Brake
I've never had a brake failure (knock on wood) but a parking brake is needed for uneventful parking on steep hills.

Re: E-Brake
not good for your trans if you park on a hill and just use your (p) to hold the truck, dont mess with it imo.
