first bit of work on my 79.

Bought a 79 swb 2wd back in feb. I has been sitting ever since. I would drive around my neiborhood and thats it. I took it down to do the emmision and inspecton. I never thought that it would pass emmisions. (po stripped all emmision controll out of it). Guy ran the test on it. he came back and told me that it almost made the newer car standards. I had them do the saftey, hit me on ball joints, passenger mirror, and pipe hanger. Aperrently you cant tie your pipe up with a coat hanger in utah. So ive been working on it this weekend so that i can start driving it. I put the moog ball joints in. started friday and finished them up to day. I can honesty say that i have never had my ass kicked so bad working on a vehicle. Lost my temper a few times but i made it. Welded up the pipe hanger as well. I need a mirror now. I have had some on order from classic parts for well over a month. i have also tried cptkos. Anyone have a line on the D49 mirrors?
