Cheap disc conversion

whats the cheapest way to go to fron disc brakes if you have 6 lugs. I know theres a site out there that sells the kits for 6 or 700 dollars, but there hs to be a cheaper option. any ideas?

that would probably be more expensive wouldnt it? first you have to cur it off one then weld it onto another. does anyone know of spindles taht bolt directly onto the 70 fron 6 lug suspension? or that bolt on with little trouble?

did they make ne 72's with discs? are the a-arms the same?

Check GMCPauls web site. I think his kits are $450 with 2.5 drop spindles.
Thats what I plan on using, unless I can figure out how to get 13 inch rotors for not much.

Do you want to stay with 6 lug or do you want to go to 5 lug. We have a complete '72 5 lug disc brake crossmember ready to bolt up for $150.
Thanks, Bo
