What books or manuals?
I have a 1968 GMC 2wd i am working on little by little. Just curios what manual or books you would recomend for a begginer? I am not a mechanic or paint and body guy. Or should I say Not Yet!

the factory service manual has loads of good info. most board vendors carry them at cheap prices
another good book is the LMC trucks catalogue they have very good illustrations for info the price is right it's free// i'd suggest buying parts from board member vendors

this site as well!! there are some talented people on here for sure. I not only have the factory manuals, but have made my own book with pics. as well as down loads from this very site. Things such as wiring diagrams, web sites and tips and hints for different projects. Very helpful.

I have heard the service manual is good to have on hand. I will have to find one. As for this site, I have already learned truck loads! this site and the folks that make it up are great!
