door gap ????
Is this door gap to wide

do you have more pics? A shot of the whole cab and door would give a better view.... looks like it might be a little wide, but a better pic would really help...

compare it to the front of the door, I tried to make mine about the same front and back, you just have to play with it alittle bit, some times it depends on how the window frame fits as well, theses trucks never had precision fit body parts.

Make Sure you have the fender on you may have no gap in the front . The gap looks Quite BIG to me

What I have learned (or so it seems) is that every door is different! I swear some are a tad bigger or smaller or ???
Anyhow, the gap on your door looks exactly like mine. The gap at the rear of the door is larger than the front on mine.

The cab on my truck is a little messed up because the rockers were rusted out so bad for so long that it allow the jam on the dirvers side to tweak out a little bit, so it makes the gap in the back real big at the bottom but tight at the top. Also when I put the new rocker in, since the jam is back a 1/4 of a inch futher then it should be, the front of the rocker is set back too. Guess I just got stuck with a crappy cab when I bought the truck.

Assuming that your rockers are in the right location( oem or replaced) the front corner of your door should line up with the rocker. These trucks didn't always line up like that from the assembly line but that is the best starting point.As always thing don't always go as planned so you may have to adjust elsewhere.
