Custom Wood Bed Pics(out of ordinary)

Saw a couple of nice wood beds last weekend at a Casper Wyoming car show. One was a Birds Eye Maple bed w/no metal trim, just tongue and groove wood. Another was a Hickory wood t&g also w/no metal trim. They looked great! There is a pic somewhere on this site of a wood bed that has a inlaid flame pattern on it and I can't find it. Anyway how about some pics of custom wood beds. Most every thing you see is same old Oak. I'm going to change mine in a truck I just bought. I'd like to mill my own wood cause I've got the tools to do it. Come on you wood workers, how about some pics of yours, or ones you've seen

It's been a total of 9 hours since the thread was created. Most of that was in the middle of the night for the US.

May want to be a bit more patient.

Amazing, I don't care if that flamed wood bed was in the rattiest, most wore out truck I had ever seen... I would still give it best of show for the work that went into the bed alone

Re: Custom Wood Bed Pics(out of ordinary)

The guy that owns it, said that he would NEVER do it again. It took him too long and many different cuts to get the bed right. His license plate his simply "GOT WOOD".
