Quick question...
Great site by the way. 58 Chevy Apache- how many leafs (rear) originally came on the truck. I know the prior owner had a leaf or leafs added so that he could put a 1000 lb motorcycle in the back. What im not sure of (nor he) is how many he added. I want to take some out and put it back to the correct number of leafs for stock but im not sure what that is. And of course so it doesnt ride so stiff. Thanks in advance.

Re: Quick question...
This page is from the 55 2nd series truck manual, should be the same as yours. There is a supplement for the 59 that shows no change on the springs.
