Detent Plate 4 speed automatic
Just curious for those of you who have done a 3 speed to 4 speed automatic transmission swap, what did you use or where did you find a 4 speed Automatic Transmission column Detent Plate?
I'm having trouble finding an aftermarket piece or what to use at all for that matter.

Re: Detent Plate 4 speed automatic
The detents are in the transmission. I just used an aftermarket shift rod linkage with heim joints that goes directly from the column to the transmission and adjusted it so that it hits all gears. The indicator is a little off. For example OD is between N and D. Works fine.
