Re: Lets see 67-72 GMC trucks
Lots of GMCs on here, so far from forgotten.
Curious about this "68 GMC long fleet (possibly a 50th???)" No such thing as a 50th anniversary edition for GMC, this was a chevy thing (unless this is what you mean by forgotten) |

Re: Lets see 67-72 GMC trucks
No that was more of a question with that one did GMC have a 50th, I had been looking on here at the chevy 50th's and what some of the specific things that were in/on the 50th's because it seems mine has a few of those things on it, seats sun visors, but the truck had been painted white by a p/o(with house paint no less), and the SPID is gone, so Im not really sure what I have ther than a 68. Im just guessing someone got stuff off a 50th and threw it in there, but thanks for that info I appreciate to know ther real deal there

Re: Lets see 67-72 GMC trucks
I have a 68 GMC and a 69 Chev (dismantled). I got this truck from a coworker buddy. His dad, a rancher, owned it and died back in the early 80's. He left the truck in his barn and my buddy would take it out and drive it on weekends. He got tired of paying insurance on it and sold it to me with 26,000 miles on the truck. I now have around 35K on it.

Re: Lets see 67-72 GMC trucks
I honestly wish I could tell you, I have been searching to find out what they are too. When I got the truck it had ghetto aftermarket wheels on it and a local mechanic had these on an old truck that was sitting in the pasture for years. I LOVE the way they look so I traded him a set of rally's for them. I never looked close to the inside if them to see if they had a name stamped in them.

Re: Lets see 67-72 GMC trucks
Here's my 72 GMC 4 wheel drive, I bought it last November and spent the last six months painting it in my basement. I just finished it a week ago, this is my very first paint job.
