Installing new felts--order?
I am installing the newly repainted donor doors on my son's (man, that's hard to say!) 72. When I stripped the doors last winter, I had a heckuva time getting everything out of the doors--I left the regulators in, but removed the vent window, all the felt, the channels, the glass, etc.
Now it's time to reinstall everything. I searched the forum for a step-by-step procedure, but didn't find anything. Is there a specific order to reinstall everything and make it relatively painless? I have the passenger door on the truck with the handle and lock installed...does the window glass go into the bottom track next, then into the vent window felt? When do the scrapper and felt get installed onto the window slot in the door? Thanks for any help...
