Frame painting
I am going to paint my truck frame with a roller on the majority and a paint brush in the hard to get places. Has anyone on here done this and could you post a picture of how the paint turned out. It doesnt matter what paint you used i just want an idea. The paint im going to use is gloss black tractor paint from attwoods. And on the smaller components i will paint gloss grey. Thanks

Re: Frame painting
Just curious why you don't spray it.
I think the end results would be better. Just my opinion.

Re: Frame painting
Sparaying would be much faster/easier, although I brushed POR15 on my rear frame with good results. No pics at work.

Re: Frame painting
I painted mine with a brush and it came out great. I used a frame paint from PM Industries. I had mine sandblasted first though.

Re: Frame painting
So i went to attwoods and got a gallon of tractor paint (i forgot the name i will look later) and got a brush and started so far it looks great i had my frame sandblasted and primed. before i started and it flows great i got glossy black. At first you can see brush lines but then it dries mostly flat and stays super glossy. The frame is for my 1960 ford f-100. i know what your thinking " a ford " dont worry the complete drivetrain is chevy. The engine is a 355 cid and i need to find a turbo 350 tranny.
